# Importing Your Data

Instead of manually adding all your previous experience, Wader offers two ways for you to bring in your historical flight data:

* **Add previous experience totals** — a lighter option that lets you enter total hours by aircraft type, which are then reflected in your Dashboard and PDF exports without importing flight-by-flight detail, so Wader acts as a continuation of your previous logbook. This is particularly useful if you have an old printed logbook and want to start using a digital logbook.
