# Connecting Other Apps (API Access)

Let a roster app, your own script or an AI assistant read and update your logbook with a personal API token.

With **Wader Pro**, you can connect other apps to your logbook. For example:

* a **roster app** that adds your duties to Wader for you,
* **your own script or spreadsheet** that reads your flights,
* an **AI assistant** that answers questions about your logbook.

You do this with a **token**. A token is a secret code you make in Wader and paste into the other app. The app then uses it to get into your logbook.

{% hint style="info" %}
A token works only for **your** logbook. It can read and change your flights and previous experience, but only if you allow it. It can **never** change your account, your password or your subscription.
{% endhint %}

***

## Create a token

**On the web:** go to **Profile → API access → Create token**.

**In the app:** coming in the next app update (**Settings → Connected apps → API access**). Until then, use the web.

1. Give the token a **name** — for example, the name of the app it is for.
2. Choose what it is **used for** (roster app, AI assistant, your own script, or other).
3. Choose its **access**:
   * **Flights** — *No access*, *Read* or *Read & write*.
   * **Previous experience** — *No access*, *Read* or *Read & write*.
4. Choose when it **expires** (90 days, 1 year or never).
5. Tap **Create**, then **copy the token** and paste it into the other app.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Wader shows the token **only once**. If you lose it, revoke it and create a new one. Keep it like a password — anyone who has it can use your logbook within the access you chose.
{% endhint %}

You can have up to **10 tokens**.

***

## See what each token is doing

The API access list shows each token with:

* what it can access,
* when it was last used, and **which app** used it,
* when it expires.

***

## Revoke a token

If you stop using an app, or you think someone else has your token, revoke it:

* **Web:** Profile → API access → **Revoke** next to the token.
* **App** (from the next app update): Settings → Connected apps → API access → tap the token → **Revoke**.

The app that used it stops working at once. Your flights and records are **not** changed.

## Connect CrewSync (GOL, LATAM, Azul)

[CrewSync](https://appcomin.com/crewsync) imports your GOL, LATAM or Azul roster and sends your flights to Wader for you. You need **Wader Pro** and **CrewSync Premium**.

1. In Wader, go to **Profile → API access → Create token** and choose:
   * **Used for:** Roster app
   * **Flights:** Read & write
   * **Previous experience:** No access
   * **Expires:** 1 year
2. Copy the token.
3. In CrewSync, open **Settings → Send to Wader** (on iPhone: **Settings → Preferences → Send to Wader**). In Portuguese: *Ajustes → Enviar pro Wader*.
4. Tap **Paste** (*Colar*), accept the notice and tap **Connect** (*Conectar*).

CrewSync sends your flights from **30 days ago to 60 days ahead**, and updates each one with the actual times after you land. To add older months, tap **Send earlier flights** (*Enviar voos anteriores*) on the same screen. Flights are never duplicated, and signed flights never change.

CrewSync sends the date, flight number, airports, block times, aircraft and total time. Add your role, landings and remarks in Wader — CrewSync keeps what you add.

To stop, tap **Disconnect** (*Desconectar*) in CrewSync, or revoke the token in Wader. Flights already sent stay in your logbook.

{% hint style="info" %}
For CrewSync questions, see the [CrewSync help page](https://appcomin.com/crewsync/ajuda#wader).
{% endhint %}

## Common questions

**My roster app stopped adding flights.** Check that your Wader Pro subscription is active. When Pro ends, your tokens are **paused** — they start working again as soon as you renew. Also check that the token is not expired or revoked.

**Can I edit a flight that came from another app?** Yes. It is a normal flight in your logbook. If the app sends the same duty again later, it updates that flight — and it keeps what you changed by hand.

**The app used an airport or aircraft Wader doesn't know.** Wader creates it as your own airport or aircraft, once, and reuses it next time. Open it in Wader and add its name and position (airport) or make and model (aircraft), so night time and day/night landings can be worked out.

**Can another app change a signed flight?** No. Signed flights are locked. Other apps cannot change or delete them.

**Can an app see my deleted flights?** No. Deleted flights are never shared with other apps.

**I am a developer. Where are the technical docs?** See the [Wader developer API](https://logbook.waderaviation.com/developers).
